About

I have an MA in Archaeology and Heritage and have experience working in several Irish museums and archives (includes National Museum of Ireland: Archaeology and Dublin City Archives).

I’ve just found it hard to ignore the growing problems and causes of climate change around the world and decided to go back to college for a year so I decided to attend UCD and take an MSc in Environmental Science.

For three years beforehand, I had been working as a content executive for GoContractor, writing blogs and eBooks concerning (health and safety) in the heavy industry. Part of my writing was encouraging companies to embrace modern technology in an industry which needs to encourage more women and the younger generation to work.

Irish history remains a passion of mine and I still volunteer to write for the one of largest history websites in the world, encouraging people from different countries to find out more about it. It is from researching and writing about collections such as the Derrynaflan Hoard and the Ardagh Chalice which were created during the Golden Age of Irish Art, that makes me upset about the waste that people today are leaving behind.
